The P&R parking lot in Lorch was equipped with 28 smart charging points in 2023. The parking lot is mainly used by commuters, which results in long standing times. For this reason, a blocking fee was waived for ad hoc charging. The project was implemented with funding from the BMDV’s “Local charging infrastructure” program. This enabled the town of Lorch to cover 80% of the investment with the funding.
