The P&R parking lot in Lorch was equipped with 28 smart charging points in 2023. The parking lot is mainly used by commuters, which results in long standing times. For this reason, a blocking fee for ad hoc charging was waived here. The project was implemented with funding from the BMDV’s “Local charging infrastructure” program. This enabled the town of Lorch to cover 80% of the investment with the funding.
