MAHLE chargeBIG: Founded in Stuttgart and already with several thousand charging points in the field. The first project was implemented at the MAHLE Group headquarters in Stuttgart—with over 100 charging points that continue to supply electricity to employees’ vehicles and the company fleet to this day. Current evaluations show that demand continues to grow and even more charging points are needed.

In total, chargeBIG already has over 1,600 charging points in the Stuttgart region. For example, a German bank has around 130 chargeBIG charging points at several locations in Stuttgart, which are used by employees and visitors. In the Gerberviertel district in downtown Stuttgart, residents of a homeowners’ association can also charge their vehicles at around 80 charging points.

chargeBIG brings charging infrastructure to where it is needed: to companies, municipalities, fleet operators, airports, trade fairs, parking garages, residential areas, and many more.

Baden-Württemberg aims to have two million charging points for electric vehicles by 2030, both publicly and privately accessible. By the end of the second half of 2025, more than 27,500 public charging points for electric vehicles will have been installed in Baden-Württemberg. chargeBIG contributes more than 2,500 charging points to the existing charging infrastructure in THE LÄND, thereby supporting the expansion of electric mobility in the state.

Here are a few examples of where the charging infrastructure is already in use: FUCHS SE in Mannheim has around 100 charging points available for company car drivers, employees, and visitors. Kreissparkasse Heilbronn also enables its employees and customers to charge their vehicles at around 100 charging points. In addition, further exciting projects are already in the planning stage. The mobility revolution is in full swing, and chargeBIG is part of it.
