Equipping of the site in Constance with 15 single-phase AC charging points with up to 7.2kW as well as a three-phase AC charging point with 22kW
Operation of the 16 charging points since December 2019
The research of the ISC in Constance is working on the dissemination of photovoltaics. The main goals of its research are to reduce the production costs of solar power and to increase the efficiency of solar cells. As part of the INPUT funding project, the ISC has installed 16 charging points at its location in Constance. The INPUT project promotes the development of charging infrastructure in parking garages and parking facilities and is supported by the Ministry of Transport of Baden-Württemberg. The aim of the collaboration is to combine and test the chargeBIG charging infrastructure with photovoltaic systems.
Use of the 16 charging points by ISC employees and by sharing service providers
Authentification and billing options will be realized to a later point of time
"The dynamically controlled solution from MAHLE chargeBIG is particularly beneficial for us because it can be combined with our PV systems and methanol fuel cell, thereby avoiding peak loads that would otherwise cost us dearly."
"The MAHLE chargeBIG charging infrastructure is a perfect fit for us because it allows us to supply power to both our own machines and up to 36 parking spaces for electric vehicles with a manageable budget and only one local grid transformer."
